Weller Special Reserve is one of the most famous wheated bourbons. It uses wheat instead of rye as the secondary grain in the mash bill and has become incredibly hard to find due to high demand and its association with Pappy.
 
Weller laid the groundwork for Pappy Van Winkle, both share the same mash bill and are produced at the same distillery
 
Nose: Floral with hints of honey, vanilla & caramel
 
Palate: Baked apple, cinnamon & light oak
 
Finnish: Creamy & smooth with vanilla & light spice
