Knob Creek Rye is a bold, full-flavoured American rye whiskey from the Knob Creek range, produced by Jim Beam. Bottled at 50% ABV, it delivers the robust character you’d expect from a Kentucky straight rye, combining classic rye spice with the sweeter, richer notes associated with Kentucky whiskey.

Rye whiskey is known for its distinctive spicy character, and Knob Creek Rye certainly doesn't hold back. Expect a combination of warming spice, vanilla and caramel, with enough oak and depth to make it particularly enjoyable neat, while its higher strength also makes it an excellent choice for classic whiskey cocktails.

Nose: Warm rye spice leads the way, followed by vanilla, caramel and toasted oak. There are hints of baking spices and a gentle sweetness underneath the spice.

Palate: Rich and full-bodied, with peppery rye spice, caramel and vanilla developing into notes of toasted grain, oak and subtle dried fruit. The 50% ABV gives it plenty of weight without overwhelming the sweeter flavours.

Finish: Long, warming and pleasantly spicy. Pepper and cinnamon linger alongside oak, vanilla and a touch of caramel, leaving a satisfying warmth that invites another sip.
