One of Canada’s Oldest Whisky Makers:
 
J.P. Wiser founded his distillery in 1857, making this one of the longest-running whisky brands in North America. Hiram Walker & Sons Distillery is also one of the largest distilleries in North America, situated on the banks of the Detroit River in Windsor Ontario.
 
The expression is matured in oak barrels for almost two decades and combines rye, corn and malted barley giving a layered depth and complexity to the expression.
 
Windsor has long been a hub for Canadian whisky—especially during Prohibition in the U.S., when Canadian producers supplied much of the illicit whisky across the border.
 
Nose: Grass, Honey and Citrus fruits
 
Palate: Green apples, vanilla, cinnamon and rather malty
 
Finnish: Long, with more citrus fruit, apple and a touch more cinnamon
