Glenglassaugh is located in the Highlands of Scotland, near the coastal town of Portsoy. The location contributes to its unique character, with the nearby sea breeze & coastal environment adding subtle maritime notes.
The distillery has a fascinating history, dating back to 1875. After closing in 1986, the distillery was revived in 2008 with the Portsoy expression exemplifying the distillery’s return to prominence and commitment to producing exceptional single malts
