Fielden Rye
Fielden English Rye Whisky 48% ABV
Oxford Artisan Distillery has rebranded to Fielden and production has moved to Yorkshire.Field Rye Whisky is made from heirloom grains, specifically a unique, locally grown strain of rye known as "heritage rye." This variety is part of OAD's commitment to reviving ancient farming methods and grain varieties that were almost lost to modern agricultureDue to the emphasis on small-scale, artisan production methods, Field Rye Whisky is produced in relatively limited quantities, making it a unique and somewhat rare find for whisky connoisseurs.Still making is now a rare trade in England but this didn't stop OAD. They collaborated with South Devon railway engineering (famous for refurbishing the flying Scotsman) to produce there stills.
