Arran 10 year old Single Malt
Island Single Malt 46%
Lochranza distillery is located on the Isle of Arran, which can be found off the west coast of Scotland. In the 1800's the island was home to multiple whisky producing stills, some of which were producing illegal spirit. Now there are just 3 distilleries operating, 2 of these (Lochranza and Lagg) are part of the same whisky family.
All Arran is made using local water from Loch na Davie, which is located next to the distillery and it's naturally filtered through several gentle waterfalls. Apparently this is the purest water source in all of Scotland and once upon a time was highly sought after on the mainland. The whisky is non-chill filtered, has no added colour and is bottled at 46% and has been agreed for 10 years in oak casks.
