This barrel proof whisky packs a punch at 58%, and hasn’t been broken down with water by the distillery. We’d recommend you add a splash of water to this dram, but it’s your choice.
 
Adding water not only reduces the alcohol vapours, but will open up the profile of the whisky by breaking down the fatty acids and potentially introducing additional notes to the profile of the dram
 
Nose: Black pepper and pine with light citrus notes
 
Palate: Powerful malt notes, with more citrus fruit
 
Finish: More citrus, spice and a bit more malt
